WELCOME to Papaya Health & Body

Back the Bid at london2012.com

This is the homepage and 'of the month' section where a chosen food group, an exercise and activities for the month around town will be highlighted as a feature. I have decided to do this at the request of clients who are constantly asking for nutritional advice in addition to the personal training. Most of my clients do not have gym membership but acknowledge the need to stay active somehow and I myself would like to be seen as an 'activity activist'!

With this in mind I have selected events which are colourful, unusual and feature lots of walking burning more calories than a night-in watching the box. I hope you like my suggestions so click away and enjoy this month's Food, Move and Activities.

WHAT TO BUY IN SPRING

Walking and shopping Boots sell a range of items to help us get back into exercise after the excesses of December. A pedometer is a small item which when attached to our waist counts calories, steps and distance. Increasing our activity levels by walking more really can make a difference especially in terms of weight maintenance so get off that bus one stop earlier, take the stairs instead of the escalator and go for a walk in your lunch break.
